Section A & B
Remco Dobber of Vechtzichts Stud (NL).
The Vechtzicht stud and it’s owner don’t need too much introduction. For decades quality ponies
have been bred which were very successful both in Holland as well as all over Europe. Numerous
ponies went to win prestigious shows as the International Show and the Royal Welsh.
Remco was almost born on top of a Welsh pony and has been, together with his parents the
driving part of the Vechtzicht Stud, a stud which keeps breeding champion after champion and
ponies coming from the stud have become foundation of a lot of studs all over Europe.
We are very happy Remco agreed to come judge the section A B at our show in 2018, giving you
all the chance to show your ponies under a lifetime breeder of Welsh ponies of high standard
SECTION C, D AND Part Breds
Tanya Baldwin of Janton Stud (GB).
This year our C’s, D’s and Part Breds will be judged by Tanya Michelle Baldwin of the Janton
Stud. At Janton Tanya breeds section A & D both for in Hand showing and performance classes.
Her ponies excel in both disciplines and owners of a Janton pony always comment on how well
behaved and what a nice character they have.
With Tanya as our judge we again have found somebody who has not been on the European
mainland to judge and who will look with an open mind and knowledgeable eye to our ponies. We
are looking forward to see many C’s, D’s and Part-Breds who will be judge on high standards.
Ridden & Harness Classes, Mini Classes & Young Handler:
Jamie Baldwin of Janton Stud (GB).
For our performance classes we have invited a very knowledgable judge, Jamie Baldwin of the
Janton Stud. He is a well known face in performance classes both in Harness as well as in ridden
classes. Also Leading Rein is no mystery for him.
At the Janton Stud the focus, next to breeding is very much on performance, therefore we are very
pleased to have been able to get Jamie as our performance judge of the 2018 version of the
Hamaland Show.
